Bråk Slagmark
Bråk Slagmark
SLAGMARK was never intended to be a production model, but became one because of popular demands. I had FØZZ which in my eyes is the only two transistor fuzz pedal I’ll ever need, but one day I woke up wanting a more distortion-like fuzz. And that same day @kjell_rune_klubbenes just happened to drop by with his 1973 Big Muff ‘white cap’ Pie!
I cloned it, since it’s a bit of an odd-ball, but decided to fuck around a bit with the circuit. I changed the tonestack, transistors, filtering caps, and even set the input stage to boost the front end of the clipping stage. Which I also changed. Asymmetrical LED clipping sounds badass on the second stage!
So here we are, a couple of years later, and SLAGMARK just got a sick tune up!
Pro tip: It sounds like a beast on bass too, but if you can find the earlier version on the used marked, it has a ‘focus’ knob which some of you bass guys keep telling me is quite useful!
Every pedal is built by hand, one by one.
